Anthony “Ronnie” Franciose, 80, of Natick, MA, passed away, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Miriam Boyd Parlin House, Wayland, MA.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy “Ann” (Murree) Franciose.
Born in Flushing, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony “Tucker” Franciose and Hazel Morris.
Ronnie grew up in Framingham, MA. where he attended Framingham High School. He later achieved numerous educational milestones while studying at Boston University, Bentley, Northeastern and Suffolk Law. Ultimately passing the State Bar Exam. He even served as a Captain for the US Air Force during Vietnam attending Officer training at West Point. He worked for The Honeywell Corporation, The Gillette Company and eventually became a longtime Attorney for the Foxboro Corporation retiring in 2005.
Ronnie was a loving and devoted husband of “Ann”. They married and settled in Natick. They enjoyed spending time with family and traveling the world. Ronnie was a dedicated father for Christopher & Jonathan, helping with their numerous activities. He Was an avid fan of all Boston Sports especially the Red Sox. His passions and interests included reading early American History and the National Parks. He loved the Appalachian Trail. As a big fan of Bluegrass music, he would travel all over the country with his dog “Jake” in his truck camper attending many festivals. He really loved spending time with his granddaughters Alyssa & Ashlynn making ravioli’s and always loved sharing a good pizza with them. He was also a successful business owner for Town Line Liquors Inc.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher Anthony Franciose of Framingham, MA, and Jonathan Paul William Franciose of Shrewsbury, MA, and two grandchildren, Alyssa Ann and Ashlynn Marie Franciose.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 8AM-930AM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Pond St., Natick.
