Charlotte A. (Maccini) Peterson

Charlotte A. (Maccini) Peterson, 88, of Natick, MA, passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023, at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice House, Wayland, MA.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Ralph Peterson.

Charlotte was born in Newton, MA on July 21, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (DeLuca) Maccini and grew up on Donizetti Street in Wellesley, MA. She was a graduate of Wellesley High School Class of 1953.

Charlotte loved to travel and made many trips abroad including trips to Australia and to Italy. She was a life-long learner and an avid reader. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. But, most of all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family and doting on her cherished pets.

Charlotte is survived by her three sons, Mitchell S. Peterson of Natick, MA, Gregory S. Peterson of Marlborough, MA, and Christopher C. Peterson of Attleboro, MA, and two grandchildren, Jonathan C. Peterson and Alexandra H. Singer. She was predeceased by her brothers Charles Maccini and Michael Maccini, as well as her sister Lorraine Flynn. Charlotte was the much-loved aunt of Felicia Flynn Roche, Meg Maccini, Alec Maccini, and Jon Maccini. She is survived by her cousins, Jack Maccini of Wellesley MA, Peter (Lisa) Maccini, Robert (Ann) Maccini and Joseph Maccini of New Hampshire, and her best friend of 55 years, Barbara “Bonnie” Grady.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11AM-12PM, in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON.  A memorial service will follow at 12PM in the funeral home.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment will be private.
