Edward S. Radock, of Natick, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1924, the son of the late Peter and Anna (Siok) Radock of Clinton. Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Anna (Canney). He is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Scappaticci and her husband, Louis, of Montville, Maine, Catherine Simonian and her husband, Ronald, of Shrewsbury, and Elizabeth Benatti and late husband, Joseph, of Natick; and two siblings, Peter Radock, of Marlborough and Theresa Forgione, of Clinton. He was the proud grandfather of Jason Scappaticci, Alan and Jeffrey Simonian, and Joseph and Daniel Benatti. Edward was also a proud great-grandfather to his four great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Maristhill for the attentive care and unwavering support they gave to Edward during his stay there.
We are also very grateful to Good Shepherd Community Hospice for the compassionate care they provided Edward through the past few weeks.
A Funeral Service will be held at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am. Visiting Hours Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4 pm - 8 pm in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Private interment will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne, on Monday, March 25th, 2024, which would have been Edward’s 100th birthday.
Anyone who was fortunate enough to receive a USS Baltimore cap from Ed please wear it to the service.
