Fay Kennefick Obituary

Fay Kennefick, 88, of Franklin and formerly of West Barnstable passed away January 2, 2020 surrounded by her family after a period of declining health.  Beloved wife of the late John J. Kennefick, who passed away in 2005.  Devoted mother of John J. Kennefick, Jr. and his wife Lynne of Harvard and Maureen (Kennefick) Reeve and her husband Richard of Franklin.  Loving grandmother of Daniel M. Reeve of Quincy, Abigail M. Kennefick of Harvard, Sean M. Kennefick of Centerville and Kerryn M. Reeve and her Fiancé Daniel J. Charest of Douglas.  Daughter of the late Martin J. and Mary A. (Brosnan) Daley.

Fay was a proud graduate of St. John’s High School in Cambridge, Class of 1949. She then went to work for the General Adjustment Bureau in Boston, a job that she thoroughly enjoyed. Her and John were married in 1956 and shortly after started their family. Fay loved taking trips with John to all the New England states, especially the coastline. She also enjoyed travel to Bermuda and Florida.  She loved the beach and enjoyed living on Cape Cod, with a special love for Sandy Neck Beach.
