Ursula H (Kuhnert) Davidsohn

Of Sherborn, passed away December 23, 2019 at 82 years of age.  Beloved wife of Wenzel E Davidsohn (1927-1996) and loving mother of Barbara Stegenga and her husband Richard Stegenga of Mebane, NC, Michael Davidsohn and his wife Debra of Belchertown, MA and Thomas Davidsohn and Michelle Mucciaccio of Clinton, MA.  grandmother (Oma) of Andrew, Katherine, Matthew and Kendall.   Sister of Baerbel Rattenbury and Achim Kuhnert.  Also survived by her niece Julia Lehr and nephew Michael Rattenbury

Ursula grew up in Goslar, Germany and came to the US with Wenzel in 1964 to start a new life in Sherborn.  Ursula loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and close friends.  She was an avid reader of American History among other topics and was an active member in St. Theresa’s parish.  Her love of Cape Cod spanned 50 years and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren walking the beaches of Cape Cod Bay.  One of her dreams that came true was bringing her entire family to her hometown in Goslar and enjoying sightseeing and family visits.  Her faith played an enormous role throughout her life and she looked forward to annual spiritual retreats. Her life both influenced and enriched all those around her.

Visiting Hours Friday, December 27th from 4-8pm at St. Theresa of Liseieux Church 35 South Main Street, Sherborn.  Funeral Mass Saturday, December 28th in St. Theresa of Lisieux Church at 10am.  Relative and friends are kindly invited to attend.

 In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ursula may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
