Adrienne Taylor Obituary

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Adrienne T. (Williams) Taylor, 86, of Natick, MA, passed peacefully at Tufts Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was born in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Thelma (Parris) Williams and Paul A. Williams.

Adrienne was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School, Boston State College and Cambridge College.  She worked as an elementary school teacher in Meriden, CT, Boston, MA, and finally Natick, MA, for over 30 years.  Adrienne was also a bookkeeper at the Walnut Hill School and a preschool teacher at the YWCA in Natick.  She enjoyed being a member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church, participated in Bible studies and was a lay reader and treasurer.  She was a founder and organizer of the first Natick Cheerleaders for the Natick Jr. Redmen.

Adrienne was a lifelong learner, a thinker, a conversationalist, a lover of travel, games and gatherings. She was a lovely, thoughtful, fun-loving mom who enjoyed playing Rummikub at the Branches of Framingham, traveling to DC, lunches with friends, and gatherings, like the family Marathon Day celebrations.

Adrienne was the loving wife of the late Alvin G. Taylor. She is survived by a son, Alvin G. Taylor Jr. of Newton, MA, a daughter, Alyssa Henry and her husband Keith of Natick, MA, a sister, Alvene Williams and her husband Brown Miller of Cambridge, MA. She was the proud grandmother of Taylor, Alexandra, Imani, Dante, Jakobi and Dillon.  She is also survived by her son-in-law Vincent Haskell of Bethesda, MD and was the mother of the late Andrea Taylor.  She will be remembered, and deeply missed.
