Autumn Collette Obituary
Autumn Collette, 60, of Natick MA, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, surrounded by her four children.
Born on February 3, 1966, she was the proud daughter of Laurence C. MacArthur. She was raised on Cape Cod, where she grew up and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School before earning her Associate Degree in Accounting. Shortly thereafter, she started her family and had four children that she raised in Brewster. She always spoke fondly of her years spent working as a secretary at Nauset Regional High School and always welcomed a lunch visit from her kids. After her children were grown, she moved to St. Louis, where she spent a wonderful eleven years before returning to Natick to be closer to her grandchildren.
Her fondest childhood memories were with her dad- catching a Red Sox game, visiting Provincetown together, and sledding on the sand with a cafeteria tray. She loved the bay beaches on the Cape and could never pass up the chance to spend a day there with her four children, staying until after sunset.
A devoted mother, her children were the center of her world and her greatest joy. She was a real-life superhuman, juggling a full schedule and making the physically impossible seem possible. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines of a game she never missed, spending an entire day in a gymnasium for a jump rope competition, or volunteering to judge said competition, she was her children’s number one supporter.
She treasured quality time with her children, especially Friday night trips to the drive-in theater. Every night, she gathered her family around the dinner table, complete with a vegetable, starch, protein, and glass of milk. She packed lunch boxes with pride every single day, always so full that there were extra snacks to share with friends.
She cherished her years in St. Louis, where she made lifelong friends and became an avid Chiefs fan. She especially loved their geocaching, thrifting, time at the Lakehouse, tubing, fishing, and Saturday night dinners. It was during her time in St. Louis that she adopted her beloved fur babies, Leonard and Sheldon, affectionately known as Bitsy and Bubs. They were her constant companions, bringing her comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
Arguably, the only title she was prouder of than Mom was Gigi. She found immense joy in doting on her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to visit museums, go apple picking, snuggle the newest addition, play, color, enjoy a family cookout, or simply delight in the sound of their laughter.
She was predeceased by her father, Laurence MacArthur. She is survived by her daughter, Kyla Tuckerman, her husband Alex, and their children, Riley, Walker and Iris of Mansfield; her son David Collette, his wife Madison, and their children Lowen and Miles of Natick; her daughter Sarah Mostone, her husband Alex, and their children Luca and Poppie of Winchester; and her daughter Julia Collette and her partner Matthew Sullivan of Canton. She is also survived by her cats, Bitsy and Bubs, and her very best friend-turned-family, Cindy-Sue Coonce of St. Louis.
Services will be private.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love, and for being the very best Mom and Gigi in the world.
“Goodnight, I love you. Don’t let the bed bugs bite. Have a good snooze, I’ll see you in the morning.”
We love you, Mom.
