Blanche C. (Wong) Woo

Blanche C. Woo, 97 of Natick passed away peacefully on Friday May 17th, 2024, in the presence of her loving family. Blanche was born in Dover, NH on May 6th, 1927, the daughter of the late Chung and Lou Shee Wong.

She was the devoted wife of 54 years to the late Benjamin Franklin Woo. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Woo and his wife Jen of Natick and Brian Woo and his wife Amy of Newton.  She was the adoring grandmother to Brayden, Adelyn, Nicole, and Kayla.  Blanche was the loving sister of Jim Wong (Lucy), Helen Wong, Violet Partridge, and Winifred Wong.  She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas, Edward, Frank, Walter, William, and Alfred.

Blanche grew up in Dover, NH and Northampton, MA worked as a waitress in her family’s restaurant.  Blanche married Frank in 1964 and settled down in Natick in 1969.  She worked at Filene’s for over 10 years.  She enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking, couponing, playing Mahjong, watching tennis on tv and was an avid Celtics fan.  What she enjoyed most was being with family, whether it was Thursday night dinners, attending one of the grandchildren’s many games and performances or just enjoying their company.

Visiting in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON on Saturday May 25th from 10:30-11:30 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30am.  Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association in loving memory of Blanche Woo.
