Carol Calder Obituary
Carol Anne Calder, 72, of Ashland, MA passed away on March 7, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Carol was born in Quincy, MA, the daughter of the late Alexander and Marjorie Beaton. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Sun Life Financial, and she was a dedicated member of the Natick VFW. Carol loved horses and was an experienced rider, and she enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod throughout the years. As a supporter and friend of the local firefighters, Carol always loved having breakfast at Fire Station #5 in Natick whenever the opportunity arose. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late George M. Calder Jr., Retired Lieutenant of the Wellesley Fire Dept., and she was the loving mother to David George Calder, of Natick and Todd A. Calder and his wife Willow Furey-Calder, of Belmont, NH. She was the beloved sister of Jane Furlong and was the cherished grandmother of Brianna and Kylie Calder and great-grandmother to Noah Michael George.
Services and interment are private.
