Carol Ann Mills

Carol Ann Mills, 78, of Natick, passed away after a lengthy illness on October 16, 2025.

Born on July 10, 1947, in Somerville, MA, she was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Virginia (Mortel) Murnane.

In addition to raising her family, Carol worked at Wellesley College for 27 years. She enjoyed vacationing in the White Mountains with her sisters. She was proud of her family and loved caring for her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is predeceased by her husband Douglass Mills, her parents and brothers, James Murnane and Richard Murnane, and her sister, Marlene Murnane. Carol is survived by her sister Doreen and husband Roger Milliken of Haverhill MA and sister Patricia and husband David Sevigney of Derry N H. She was the beloved MOTHER to Susan Ann Friot, of Natick, Marlene Friot, of Natick, Michelle Coppola and her husband Paolo, of Clinton, and Jennifer Randall, of Natick. Carol was a loving grandmother to James MacDonald, Daryl Coppola, Alexander Azevedo, Brandi Laskowsky, Marissa Laskowsky, Monique Friot, Junior Recinos, Domenic Coppola, Vincent Recinos. She was also survived by her beloved 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on November 8th, 2025, at the Natick Community Senior Center 117 East Central Street Natick MA 01760 from 5:00-8:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick at the convenience of the family and will be private.

Donations in Carol’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
