Carol Pope Obituary
Carol R. Pope, 86, of Natick, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 5, 2024, after a brief illness.
Born on July 9, 1938, in Piermont, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Martin and Rose (Rechtorovic) Ladik.
Carol was a loving mother to Lisa Walsh and her husband Gary, of Watertown, and Jonathan Pope, of Great Barrington, MA. She was the beloved grandmother of David Whepley, of North Adams, MA.
Carol was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines in the late 1950’s. She hung up her wings until she joined the staff of AAA Travel in 1978 as a travel agent, retiring from the Framingham, MA office in 2000. Carol spent her years in retirement working at craft shows and farmers markets. She founded "Basket Full of Herbs" and delighted her customers tastebuds with her various spice mixes.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of her family.
