Chris Ferrari, lost his hard-fought battle to engineer a way past the sands of time and illness on April 15, 2026.  

His photographic mind and profound ability to learn via observation was evident from a very young age. Born and raised in New York City and Scarsdale, NY, he moved to Massachusetts in his 20s, living in Dover, Weston, Marlborough, and Natick. Although formally educated as an electrical engineer, in practice he did at least as much mechanical and chemical engineering work over his lifelong career. 

Chris was beloved by more than he knew for his humor, logic and eccentricity as a self-proclaimed "extreme do-it-yourself-er". While he may have been direct, he had a very soft side for those he loved, which was very evident when with the grandchildren he adored. Chris’s family is devastated by the loss of a devoted family man who worked so hard at literally everything he ever did.

He is survived by Denise and his children; Chrisden Ferrari of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Adam Ferrari and his wife, Amanda of Natick. Chris was also “Grandpa” to Logan, Brooke, Alden, Madelyn, and Brennan.   

The family invites you to celebrate and remember Chris on his birthday, Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2-4pm at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common.
