Clarence D'Souza Obituary

D’SOUZA, Clarence A. of Natick, long-time resident of Tewksbury, MA formerly of Bombay, India, passed away peacefully March 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Joan (Turgeon) D’Souza of Natick.  Devoted father of Nanette Daly and her husband Peter of Natick, Timothy D’Souza and his wife Lisa of Southborough, and Randolph D’Souza and his wife Christina Swanson of Cambridge and Wellesley.  Dear brother of Celine Martin and her late husband Frank of Methuen, Cressentia Braganza and her husband Cyril of Tewksbury, and the late Claude D’Souza and his wife Ivy of Chelmsford.  Loving grandfather of Colin, Kiera, Noel, Kilian, Reagan, and Siobhan Daly, Ryan and Luke D’Souza, and Charles “Charlie” and Eleanor “Ella” D’Souza.  Also survived my many nieces and nephews.

Clarence came to the US from India in 1967 to attend college, graduating from the University of Hartford and Western New England College earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  He worked for 20 years at Monsanto, but his family was always his top priority.  An avid soccer fan, Clarence loved coaching, refereeing, and playing.  He was lucky to be able to travel across the world with Joan, his wife of 50 years.  The life of the party, he would never turn down a drink, especially if someone else was paying.  Nor would he ever falter to speak his mind on politics, religion, and other light subjects at family parties.  A devout Catholic, he was active in St. William’s parish in Tewksbury, MA for nearly 5 decades.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Friday, March 26th at 9:00am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 44 East Central St., Natick at 10:00am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting hours Thursday, March 25th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.  Hear Clarence’s story at:
