Daniel “Buzzy” Bartone, 92, of Natick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, April 10, 2026. Born in Natick on February 28, 1934, he was the beloved son of the late Antonio and Philomena (Pelullo) Bartone. He is survived by his beloved wife Joanne Ruth (Blevins) Bartone, of Natick; Loving father to Anthony J. Bartone and his wife Sandy Kalik Bartone, of Waltham, and Danielle J. Bartone and her husband Stephen Brewster, of Dedham; Cherished grandfather of Madeline Faith Bartone, Vito August Bartone, and Beverly Ruth Phyre Bartone. Dan was predeceased by his siblings, Vito J. Bartone, Jennie Carriera, and Josephine Campisi. Dan was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and served as a Firefighter for the Town of Natick, retiring after 28 years. Dan also continued the landscaping company started by his father, “Bartone Landscaping.” In his life Dan was a communicant at St. Patrick and St. Linus Church in Natick and sang in the Choir for both churches. For 22 years he volunteered with the Meals on Wheels Program to help vulnerable seniors and people in the greater Natick community. Dan was a die-hard New England Patriots fan and he enjoyed Zumba at the YMCA during the winter months to stay active. Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, 44 East Central St., Natick at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
