Daniel Gilbert Obituary
Daniel V. Gilbert, 49, of Natick, MA, passed away suddenly, Friday, December 1, 2023, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA.
Born in Natick, MA, he was the son of Jon S. Gilbert of Plymouth, MA, and the late Elizabeth (Shields) Gilbert.
Daniel had worked as the dispatcher at Natick Cab and Tommys Taxi for over 20 years. He enjoyed golf, watching football games with his brother Chris, country rock music, and playing the slots at Foxwoods Casino.
Besides his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Maureen (McElhenny) Gilbert of Plymouth, MA, two brothers, Christopher E. Gilbert of Natick, MA, and Shawn S. Gilbert and his wife Kristin of Medway, MA, two step-sisters, Kimberly D. Karass of Plymouth, MA, and Lisa M. Gilbert of N. Andover, MA, and many cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 11AM-12PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON. A memorial service will follow at 12PM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
