David Eric Marden, 56, of Framingham, MA, passed away, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, MA, with his son and mother by his side.
Born on October 17, 1967, David was an avid and passionate photographer whose goal was to capture people in their natural state of passion, whether at tattoo conventions, concerts, weddings, or his beloved side kick, Scout.
David loved to bring his camera with him as he traveled and photographed unique sites around the East Coast, with a view and insight that only he would see, allowing us to experience his discoveries through his own magical creative lens. He fancied himself a global traveler, which helped to create a distant wonder-lust that showed in all his creative endeavors.
As a true storyteller, meeting people from all walks of life, and all parts of the world, was of great importance to the fabric and purpose of David’s life.
David was very proud of his 25-year career at ‘Snap-on-Tools’ in Natick, which allowed him to work with tools that became more relevant when he began to work with his hands to create one of a kind rings made from silver coins. He also leaves behind many friends from his years working a Tommy’s Taxi in Framingham.
David leaves behind his son Connor Marden and his wife Lexie, mother Sandy Marden, and brother Timothy Marden, all of Framingham, his brother Tony Marden and husband Xavier of France, as well as many cousins, and his uncle Ralph Leach and his wife Meg of San Diego. And of course, the many global friends that he collected over the years.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 4-7PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON. Relatives and friends are invited to attend to pay their respect to Dave.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
