Diane Marie (Aube) Balboni

With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Diane Marie (Aube) Balboni, 60, on September 20, 2024. Diane was born on June 18, 1964, in Natick. Throughout her life, she was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.

Diane is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 38 years, Dan Balboni, with whom she shared a deep and unwavering bond. Their relationship was built on love, trust, and joy. Together, they created a home filled with happiness and laughter. They loved playing Scrabble and listening to her favorite, Ryan Montbleau Band, in their home away from home, the Shed.

She was the proud and loving mother of Jen (Nick Reyes) Balboni, of Webster; Sarah (John) Murphy, of Beacon, NY; Becca (Gregg) York, of Framingham; and Sam Balboni, of Natick. Her grandchildren are Ben and Madelyn Murphy, and Kaysen Reyes. She loved them dearly. She also loved her favorite furry grandchildren, Charlie and Gus.

Diane is also survived by her beloved mother-in-law, Daphne Balboni of Natick; siblings Karen Ghilani of Natick and Larry Aube of North Carolina; as well as many cherished relatives, friends, and neighbors who all miss her dearly.

She was preceded by her father, Arthur, and mother, Patricia (O’Brien) Aube, as well as her brother, Dougie Aube, all of Natick.

She was always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a comforting presence. She made people feel understood and loved, leaving a lasting impact on all those lives she touched. Diane’s love, kindness, and strength will forever be remembered, and her legacy will continue to live on through her family and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

The celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at John Everett’s Funeral Home in Natick from 4 – 7 pm. The funeral services will be held on Thursday September 26th at St. Linus Church (119 Hartford St, Natick, MA 01760) at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery in Natick and a celebration of life at the Italo American Education Club in Wellesley (75 Pleasant Street, Wellesley, Massachusetts 02482).
