Diane Gorzynski Obituary

Diane M. Gorzynski, 75, of Natick, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born on November 10, 1950, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Diane was the beloved daughter of the late Carmelo M. and Jennie J. (Pezza) Mazzarini. She was predeceased by her brother, David Mazzarini.

A lifelong resident of Natick, Diane graduated from Natick High School before attending Bridgewater State College, where she volunteered at Bridgewater State Hospital. After graduating, she began her career at Raytheon, where she met the love of her life, the late Edward Gorzynski. The two shared 35 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with love while raising their cherished children, Joseph and Jenna.

Diane was the loving mother of Joseph Gorzynski and his significant other, Keri, of Natick, and Jenna Petro and her husband, Michael, of Mendon. She was a proud and devoted Noni to her beloved grandchildren, Ava and Carmelo Petro, both of Mendon, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

In her professional life, Diane served as Practice Manager at MetroWest Anesthesiology, Inc. for 32 years. She was a respected leader and mentor who formed lasting friendships with her coworkers that extended well beyond the workplace. Following her retirement, she found her greatest joy in helping care for her beloved grandchildren.

Outside of work, Diane loved bowling, playing miniature golf, cheering on the Boston Red Sox, playing Words with Friends, and preparing her signature homemade meals for family and friends. Whether gathering around the dinner table or enjoying a simple afternoon together, Diane made every moment feel special.

To know Diane was to love her. She lived with a generous heart, always putting others before herself and never hesitating to help someone in need. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love touched countless lives and will continue to be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her loving family, Diane leaves behind her treasured lifelong high school friends, affectionately known as the "GNO Girls," her dear neighborhood friends, and many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Diane's funeral on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick.
