Dorothy George Obituary
Dorothy George, age 98, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was the world’s best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Born in Paterson, N.J., Dorothy resided in Hawthorne N.J. for 60 years before moving to Sherborn Massachusetts in 2014. During WWII Dorothy worked at Curtiss Wright Aviation. Following the war she raised two sons, Robert and Kenneth, both of whom served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Dorothy George was the beloved wife of George Jacob George of Paterson, N.J., loving mother of Robert George and his wife Pam, and Kenneth George and his wife Patty. Dear grandmother to Kristen, Lindsay, Whitney, Christopher, Caitlin, and Mary and great grandmother to Siobhan, Michael and Carter.
A private memorial service will be held at George Washington Memorial Park.
