Of Natick, passed away on Monday April 19, 2021 at age 91.
Daughter of the late John and Mary (Stewart) Cook. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Manning. Devoted mother of Eileen Manning Merritt of Framingham, Patricia Houde and her husband Rob of Danvers, Maureen Paquette of Natick and her late husband Richard, Kathleen Manning of Plymouth, Pauline Manning of Essex VT, and Dorothy and Richie Costello of Dana Point CA. Sister of Pauline White of Kingston, Elizabeth Morgan of Easton, and the late Mary Manning. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Matthew, Allison, Richard, Katherine, Patrick, John Michael, Emma, Jeffrey, Samson, Jennifer, Sean, Alex, Christian, and great-grandmother of Ezra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy worked for many years as Secretary to the Superintendent of Natick Public Schools, and was an active member of St. Patrick’s Parish for 60 years.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON on Friday April 23, 2021 at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday April 22, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.
Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Natick Food Pantry, Natick Senior Center, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
