Edgar J. Mailhot, Jr

Edgar J. Mailhot, Jr. passed away on March 11, 2024 at his home. 

He was born in 1943 to Edgar and Pauline (Ferrier) Mailhot. He was raised in Blackstone, MA and lived in Natick, MA since 1973.  He worked for a couple of years in the foundry at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale, MA before opening and operating Ed’s Tree and Landscape Service, Inc., in Natick for the last 55 years. 

He is survived by his beloved partner Jeudy Calderon of Natick, and his son, Jack Mailhot of Millville, MA and his partner Beth Cleary, his daughter Rosanna Sabatinelli and her husband Joe, of Putnam, CT, his sister, Pauline Whipple of No. Smithfield, RI, his former wife, Eileen Fairbanks of Onset, MA, 5 grandchildren – Amber O’Leary-Mailhot and Autumn Mailhot, Sofia, Cassidy and Emily Sabatinelli and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Ed always enjoyed outdoor activities, cruises, spending the winter months in his home in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in Florida and entertaining friends at his home.  He loved spending time with his beloved partner, children, and his four-legged fur babies.  Reading biographies and writing were also favorite hobbies of his. 

Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm. Followed by a Prayer Service at 3pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
