Edmund R. Zicko, of Natick, MA passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023. He was the son of the late Archie and Evelyn (Murry) Zicko. A lifelong resident of Natick, he graduated from Natick High School, class of 1952. He graduated from Boston College in 1956, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany. He was a claims supervisor in the insurance industry for over 25 years. Upon retirement, he worked part-time for Lord and Taylor as a sales associate.
Ed was a past Grand Knight of Natick, Council #79 Knights of Columbus, and Secretary of the St. Patrick’s Conference of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul. Ed was also a daily communicant at St. Patrick’s Parish in Natick, and served as an usher, lector, and extraordinary minister at St. Patrick’s.
Ed was predeceased by his brother James Zicko of Natick and his sister Helen McClure, also of Natick. He is survived by a nephew and 5 nieces.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, MA. Calling Hours will be from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the John Everett Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA on August 10, 2023. Burial will be private at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick.
