Eileen F (Barnes) MacKeil

Eileen F. MacKeil of Ashland, formerly of Holliston and Framingham passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Manor on June 17, 2025.  She was married to Kenneth T. MacKeil who predeceased her in 2013.  Born in Cambridge on December 12, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Frances P. (Mahoney) Barnes.  Eileen worked for New England Telephone/Verizon for over 40 years.  She was an active member and past president of the Pioneer’s, a volunteer for many Special Olympics, past president of the Lions and a member of the VFW.

Eileen was a graduate of Framingham High class of 1959 and Mass Bay Community College.  She is survived by her sister, Patricia A. Kellicker and her husband Frank Kellicker of Hampton Beach, NH.  and her brother, William J. Barnes and his wife Meredith of Dennis.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.  She was blessed to have had many faithful friends throughout her lifetime.

Visiting Hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON will be on Wednesday June 25th from 9:30-11am.  Followed by Funeral Service at 11am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment will follow at Dell Park Cemetery, Natick.
