Obituary
Elizabeth A. (Wry) Wicks, (Betty) 98, of Natick, passed away, Friday, September 8, 2023, at Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Natick.
She was the wife of the late John G Wicks Jr.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Valentine and Cornelia Ann (Hartford) Wry. Elizabeth was a graduate of Hyde Park High School class of 1942.
Elizabeth was a member of the Fisk Memorial Methodist Church in Natick for over 70 years. She was a lifelong Red Sox fan. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, painting, trivia and playing cards.
She is survived by a daughter Ainslee L. Wicks of Natick, MA, a son Christopher Wicks and his wife Judith of Schwenksville PA, formerly of Lakeville, MA, a grandson Cameron Wicks and his wife Andrea of Royersford, PA, and two great grandchildren, Madeline, and Emily Wicks both of Royersford, PA. She was also the sister of the late Lois Webb and Richard Wry.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 12-1PM at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON. A memorial service will follow at 1PM. Burial will be private.
