Florence Filledes Obituary
Florence M. Filledes, 92, of Natick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2024, with her family by her side after a lengthy illness.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Tassos P. Filledes and her son-in-law, Mark Landry (both in 2020).
She is the loving mother of Chris Moretti and her husband Tom, of Plymouth, Bonnie Landry, of Hopkinton, Peter Filledes and her daughter-in-law, Carol Filledes of San Diego. Doting and proud grandmother to Derek Moretti, Jill O'Connell, Matthew Moretti, Brian and Keith Landry, and her great-grandchildren Anna and Molly Moretti, and Amanda and Lucas Landry.
Florence was born in Framingham to the late George and Margaret Parker and was a loving sister to her late brothers John Parker of Pocatello, ID, and Walter Parker of Natick, and late sisters Helen Gassett of Hopkinton, and Jean Lamont of Natick.
Florence moved to Natick in Junior High. She was a 1949 graduate of Natick High School, and being an excellent typist and proofreader had successful careers as a library aide and medical office secretary. Florence mostly loved being with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and enjoyed listening to music, and arts and crafts as hobbies.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to Ann Walker, Jaime Fitts and Ivonne Picart of Brookhaven Hospice, along with the nurses and staff of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center who took such loving care of Mom for the last few years of her life.

A graveside service will be held at Dell Park Cemetery, Pond St., Natick, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
