Francis Lam of Natick, known as Frank to most, passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 57. He was a beacon of kindness, dedication, and generosity to all who knew him. Cherished husband of May Shu, whose unwavering support and love were his constant source of strength. Devoted father of Kyra and Greyson, whom he adored and took immense pride in. Beloved son of Matthew and Rosemary Yee-Lam. Dear brother of Simone Lee. Doting uncle of many nieces and nephews; Jarrett and Sabrina Lee, Adrian and Alexa Wai, Chase and Hunter Huang, Reese, Cole and Sloane Yan.
Frank's life was a rich tapestry of love, sports, and community. A true fan of all professional sports, his devotion to the New England Patriots was legendary. He immersed himself in the excitement of the drafts and found camaraderie in Fantasy Football leagues. Sundays were sacred, spent watching football and golfing with his closest friends, sharing laughter and the spirit of the game he loved.
Frank's true joy lay in making others happy. His generosity knew no bounds, as he selflessly helped family, friends, colleagues, and even strangers without expecting anything in return. His kindness was a guiding light, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Every Halloween, Frank transformed his home into a magical spectacle, delighting the neighborhood with imaginative decorations. His creativity and dedication turned the holiday into a cherished community tradition.
A devoted theater-goer, Frank had a ritual of attending movie premieres on opening night, embracing the thrill and magic of cinema.
Frank's commitment to his community shone through his twelve years of coaching Natick Soccer. He inspired countless young athletes with his dedication, wisdom, and encouragement.
At work, Frank was known for his well-stocked snack drawer, a small gesture that brought smiles and comfort to his colleagues, embodying his caring nature.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Natick Soccer Club and the Wellesley Council on Aging in honor of Frank’s dedication to coaching and community service.
Frank's life was a testament to the power of giving, the thrill of passion, and the love of family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visiting Hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON, on Friday June 14th from 3-8pm, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember his remarkable journey.
