Frank Jenkins Obituary

Frank Charles Jenkins

Frank passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 at age 89 in his home in Sherborn after a brief illness.  Frank was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 1, 1936 where he spent his youth living in Norwood, PA outside of Philadelphia graduating from Glen-Nor High School.  Frank attended college at the University of North Carolina earning a bachelor degree in Engineering, and obtained an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  While at Wharton, Frank was an avid sculler in the Vesper Boat Club, rowing crew on the Schuylkill River nearly making it to the Olympics.  There Frank met his late wife Janice Elizabeth “Beth” Watson, married in 1962, and moved to New England settling into a small Sherborn horse farm called Bracken Hill in 1968.  Frank was a very active member in town participating in many town boards and committees, and was instrumental in making Sherborn what it is today.  Frank was loved by many people in town and beyond, and was always involved in many activities outside of work including multiple bridge clubs, finance clubs, teaching and always getting together with family and friends.  Towards the end of his professional career, Frank and Beth were sent on a worldwide trip by York International to teach the American accounting system to their global staff.  Frank also taught finance at the Hartford Graduate Center in Connecticut, and after his retirement, Frank continued his teaching working as a graduate finance professor at Clarke University in Worcester.  Frank is survived by his children Christopher Paul Jenkins of Framingham, Jonathan Schuyler Jenkins of Sharon, and Sandra Katherine Beauregard of Sherborn.  Frank’s grandchildren were a huge joy in his life by spending as much time as possible with them.  Oldest to youngest they are Isabelle Raine Beauregard of Sherborn, Kay Cassidy Jenkins of Sharon, Aidan Charles Beauregard of Sherborn and Clara Kit Jenkins of Sharon.  Frank had a huge community of friends and family and will be missed by all.  There will be a service for Franks life at the Pilgrim Church at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 followed by a burial at Pine Hill Cemetery and a local reception, all in Sherborn, MA.
