Gabriel Conte

Gabriel Conte went to his lord on Sunday August 2nd. He was predeceased by his parents Luisa and Angelo Conte. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 59 years, Roberta, his children, David Conte, Douglas Conte (Lori Conte) and Christopher Conte. He is also survived by his brothers, Mario Conte (jane Conte), Thomas Conte and his sister, Antoniette Divico, Sister in law, Barbara Winsor and several nieces and nephews. Gabriel was a very proud grandfather to Amanda Dean, Angelina Conte, Stephanie Cado and Andrea Conte.

He was born in San Tommaso, Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. He lived most of his life in Natick, MA before relocating to Melbourne, FL. Gabriel was an employee of the Town of Weston for many years as well as a small business owner. Gabriel's passion was gardening and he could grow just about anything. He also enjoyed making his homemade pasta and loved to share stories about Italy over a meal with family and friends. He was a life long member of the Sons of Italy and enjoyed socializing with his extended Italian family there. Gabriel was a very kind and generous man and was loved and will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will take place in the spring or at a safe time to gather, at the Sons of Italy in Watertown, Ma.

In lieu of flowers or expressions of sympathy of Gabriel may be made to the Sons of Italy 520 Pleasant Street  Watertown, MA 02472
