Gerard Higgins Obituary
Of Natick passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Roberta (Hunter) Higgins. Gerard was a vivid storyteller, loved clam bellies and was very active in local sports and politics in his younger years. He encountered more tragedy in his life than anyone should have to face. Among his last words were that his children were the joy of his life. Devoted father of Steven and his wife Lisa of Marlborough, Donna Elizabeth Munyon and her husband Mark of Ventura, CA, Karen Valente and her husband David of Simpsonville, SC and the late Gerard F. Higgins Jr. Loving grandfather of Jacob, Rachel, Justin, Anthony, Brittney and Steven. Great grandfather of Caleb, Russell, Grace and Emilia. Brother of the late Joseph, Margaret "Peggy" Winnier and Dennis Higgins. Son of the late Joseph and Matilda (Vahey) Higgins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 44 East Central Street (Rt. 135) NATICK on Wednesday June 23rd at 10am. Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne at 1:15pm
