Hilda Elizabeth Talvy, passed peacefully October 22, 2024.
A lifelong Natick resident, she was the daughter of Lillian Woods Banks and Lenley Frank Banks. She was raised by her grandparents Reverend Charles and Elizabeth Woods.
Hilda was happily married to her husband of over 43 years, Eugene Talvy, who passed in 1994. Together they owned and operated the Talvy Brothers Florist in Natick. She was a graduate of Natick High and Chandler Secretarial School. She was an active parishioner and choir member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for many years.
She leaves behind her son, Eugene Charles Talvy and daughter-in-law, Linda Talvy; grandchildren Pamela Da Cunha, Sharlene DeAngelis (Husband Marcel), Cheryl Sigouin (Husband Philippe), Susan Demirjian (Husband Stephen), and Gregory Gorman (Wife Paula); as well as her cherished great-grandchildren Alexis, Dominic, Isabella, and Myles.
She is predeceased by her son Johnny Talvy, daughter Karen Jean Gorman and son-in-law Joseph Gorman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at John Everett and Son Funeral Home 4 Park Street in Natick Friday November 1st from 6 to 8pm. Followed by a Funeral Mass, 10am Saturday November 2nd at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 39 East Central Street (Rt 135) in Natick and burial at Dell Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Paul Episcopal Church, Juvenile Diabetes Association, or March of Dimes.
