James Slamin Obituary

ALL SERVICES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. 

James Joseph Slamin in Bedford, formerly of Natick, passed away on June 24, 2026.  He was born in Natick on September 11, 1965, to Katherine (Fahey) Slamin and the late John T. Slamin.  Brother of Peter M. Slamin and his wife Jessica L. Slamin, and his sister, Holly S. Slamin. Uncle of Kodie S. Slamin. 

James graduated from Natick High School and Quinobin Regional Vo-Tech in 1984.  After high school he enlisted in the US Navy where he trained at Great Lakes before serving on the USS Berkley (DDG15) as a firefighter. He worked many years at Mabardy’s Gulf before taking up landscaping work with various companies.

He cherished his dog “Sneaker Greatly” and visiting his nephew Kodie when he could, He took great stock in speaking with the extended family.  He will be missed by family and friends greatly.
