Joan L. (Munson) Kirk

A longtime resident of Framingham and Natick, died peacefully on Saturday March 5, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Manor.  

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Kirk, who passed away in 2017.  Born in Middlebury, Vermont she was the daughter of the late Marion (Aldrich) and William J. Munson.  Joan was the loving mother of Barbara Kirk and her companion Dan Ferris, Mary Kirk and her fiancée Ron Martin, William Kirk, and Joanie Kirk.  She was the sister of the late Richard, Earl, Kenneth, Bill Jr., Ralph, Anita, Marjorie, Shirley, Elizabeth, and Joyce.  Joan was the proud grandmother of Leeann Riley, Ryan Saporetti, Rebecca Riley, and Jason Saporetti.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joan worked for over 20 years at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham.  The family wishes to extend their heart-felt thanks and appreciation to the Staff and Community of St. Patrick’s Manor and Good Shepherd Hospice for their compassionate care and support in Joan’s final days.

There will be no calling hours.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Dell Park Cemetery.
