John P. Hewitt in Milford formerly of Ashland passed away on September 28, 2023, peacefully, and surrounded by family.  Beloved husband of Kathleen (Bagshaw) Hewitt.  Devoted father of Mark and Victoria Hewitt of Northbridge, Melissa and Rodney Burnham of Milford, and Robert Hewitt of Milford.  Loving grandfather of Brandy Burnham, Kylie, and Owen Hewitt. Son of the late John and Leora (Allen) Hewitt.  Also survived by many cousins. 

John was a former Town Meeting Member in Milford.  During the summer he was often with his family on Cape Cod boating, and fishing. He loved Boston’s sports teams and rarely missed a game on TV. John loved listening to music. He attended many concerts and spent countless evenings sitting on his front porch listening to his favorites. Lastly, he enjoyed playing golf.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON on Thursday October 5th at 9am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 44 East Central Street (Rt 135) Natick at 10am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.  Visiting Hours on Wednesday October 4th from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
