Judith Collari (nee Verner), was born on Oct 11, 1939 in Newton, Massachusetts to parents John and Mary Verner. She passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025 surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Fred Collari, to whom she was married for over 60 incredible years. Anyone who knew them - whether intimately, or casually - had no choice but to see and appreciate the love that Fred and Jude had for one another.
Jude and Fred lived and raised their children in Natick, where she took great pride in her duties as a mother and wife, keeping their home and family safe, happy (and of course, in line). They enjoyed many wonderful winters through Fred’s retirement in St. Petersburg, FL. There, they found joy in long walks, socializing with friends, and playing golf. They also traveled to many places around the world.
Back at home, Gigi’s family grew throughout the years, providing plenty of opportunities for babysitting grandkids, baking, gardening and can’t forget back to school shopping! Judy loved entertaining and opening her home for neighbors, family and friends for Summer cookouts, birthdays, reunions and any other excuse to spend time together, but the highlight of her year was her Christmas party- her personal Superbowl.
Judy is survived by her children: Jeff Collari of Natick; Dan Collari and his wife Lynn of Holliston; Debbie Leshinski and her husband Jim of Milford; Bob Collari and Sherry Boudrot of Upton. Gigi will be missed by her 13 grandchildren and 12, (soon to be 13) great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by siblings Dorothy Holman, Jack Verner, Robert (Joe) Verner and Barbara Coffey. She is also predeceased by her beloved grandsons Michael and Brian.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and gratitude to Judy’s caregivers, who at the end of her life, truly went above and beyond.
The family is holding a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Alzheimer’s Association: Donate | Alzheimer's Association
