June A. (Adam) Keefe

June A. Keefe, (Adam), 96 of Holliston, passed away on December 11, 2024, after a brief illness. 

She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Haggerty) Adam.  She was a life-long resident of Massachusetts.  Throughout her life she lived in Framingham, Natick, Milford & Holliston.  She graduated from Framingham High School in 1946. 

June moved to Natick in 1950 where she raised 8 children: Joseph, Leslie, Paul, David, Luanne, Lawrence, Kevin and Douglas.  She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.  In 1978 June graduated from Holliston Junior College with an associate's degree in business accounting She had a long-varied working career including, N.E. Telephone, Sears, Milford Shoe Factory, Cushing Hospital, Dennison Mfg. Co., and Milton-Cat. 

June was an avid reader, she enjoyed candlepin bowling, and most card games.  She belonged to a bridge group through the Natick Senior Center.  June was a terrific gardener, with a rare green thumb.  With her fabulous fashion sense, she shopped with a passion, passing her skills onto her granddaughters.  She enjoyed traveling, both domestically and abroad.  June was an intelligent woman with a sharp mind and a quick funny wit. 

She was predeceased by her son Paul, earlier this year, as well as her siblings, Ruth, Robert, John and Jo-Ann.  She is survived by her 7 other children, their spouses and all their descendants, as well as her sister Helen Spinks of Framingham, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
