Karen L. (Koller) Levesque, of Haverhill, formerly of Rockport, passed away on March 8, 2025. She was born in Great Lakes, Illinois on July 2, 1951, to the late Arthur and Leonore (Parsons) Koller. Karen was the devoted mother of Michelle LeBlanc and her husband Richie, of Natick, and Sandy DaRosa and her husband Jose, of Haverhill. Loving grandmother of Brendan, Brooke and Colby LeBlanc, Austin, Jake, Julia, Isabelle DaRosa, and the late Joshua DaRosa. Sister of Gregory Koller and the late Michael Koller. Former wife of Francis R. Levesque. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Karen graduated from Rockport High School in 1969. She worked as an X-ray Tech for General Electric for 10 years. She went on to earn an Associates Degree at Northern Essex Community College in Mental Health Technology in addition to a Certified Medical Assistant in 1995.
She was strong and competed in body building in her youth. She said the best thing she did in her life was to be a mother. She made beautiful homemade birthday cakes and cards. She will be remembered for her love of nature, animals, and the beach. She fought a strong battle with lung cancer since 2016 but passed peacefully with her family thanks to Dr. Christopher Lathan of Dana Farber from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and the amazing staff and care from Brigham and Women’s Hospital ICU.
