Katherine “Kate” Jenkins (Scurlock) of Watertown, formally of Natick, passed away surrounded by her family after more than a yearlong courageous battle with Glioblastoma on October 30, 2024, at the age of 37. She was the beloved wife of William Jenkins and devoted mother of Jackson Jenkins as well as the loving daughter of James and Patricia (Walsh) Scurlock. She was also the cherished sister of Elisabeth (Lisa) and Victoria (Tori) Scurlock. Visiting hours with be at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home located at 4 Park Street, Natick Commons, on Sunday November 3rd from 11AM – 2PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. The internment will be private.
Kate was a graduate of Natick High School (2005), Providence College (2009) and Boston University Graduate School (2023). She had her ‘dream job’ at Harvard Business School as a Unit Administrator. She was also a mentor with the American Corporation Partnership.
We are eternally grateful for the Neuro Oncology team at Massachusetts General Hospital including her brilliant surgeon, his team, and the kind nursing team on Lunder 8.
Having lived in Sweden and England, Kate developed a love for travel. In her senior year at Providence College, she attended college in the UK. She also had a true love for all things Disney. Kate married her best friend from high school in 2010. Kate will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
