Kathleen “Kathy” (Bennett) Vann in New Port Richey, FL formerly of Natick passed away on March 14, 2026, after a long illness. She was born in Boston on December 16, 1959 to the late Frank and Frances (Cole) Bennett. Beloved wife of John “Jay” Vann. Devoted mother of Jack Vann and his partner Christina. Cherished sister of Deborah Kozak and her late husband Stephen, Lee Robertson and her late husband James, Denise Wood and her husband John, Daniel Bennett and his wife Maureen, Kim Miccile and her husband Scott, Thomas Bennett and his wife Kristin. Aunt of Kristin and Kate, Katherine and Joe, Duncan and Meredith and baby Sawyer, Michael and Maddie, Sean and Katie, Alyssa and Jay, Brianna and Isaiah, Katie, Annie, Maille and Tony, Caroline, Emily.
Kathy grew up in Natick and graduated from Natick High School in 1977. She worked at Fairway Sports World, William Carter Co and Penfield Apparel for many years. After moving to New Port Richey, she was employed by the Pasco County School District. Kathy was a beautiful and lively person. She loved her “kitties”, anything and everything Disney, the warmth of the beach, baking her quiche and raisin cakes and spending time with her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Morse Tavern 85 East Central Street (Rt. 135) Natick on Wednesday May 20th from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
