Kenneth A. Ashley, 70, of Ashland, MA passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2025.
Born in Rochester, NH, he was the son of Arnold and Barbara (Wilkin) Ashley.
He grew up in Rochester, NH and attended Spalding High School in Rochester, NH. He played on the varsity football team and was the captain his senior year. After high school he attended Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH for a postgraduate year. There he played football and lacrosse. Following his time there he attended Boston University in Boston, MA and studied business management.
He was a veteran in the technology sales industry. He was known for being driven, his persuasiveness, and being a strategic thinker. He had a way of turning challenges into opportunities. Throughout his career, he helped cultivate new markets with the newest technologies, products, and services while building strategic relationships and alliances.
He enjoyed discussing and watching sports and sports documentaries. He could often be found watching or re-watching some of his favorite Boston championship games. He took great joy in cooking and finding the best recipes to inspire his creativity in the kitchen. Kenneth was also a large lover of music and could often be found listening to Zac Brown Band, the Beatles, or Steely Dan. He enjoyed coaching and cheering on his daughter in sports. He enjoyed camping and spending time outside with his family in the summertime.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved daughter, Olivia Ashley, of Concord, CA; his sister Betty Ashley, of Rochester, NH; his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Mike Donahue, of Fremont, NH; and his nephew Sean Donahue, wife Erin Donahue and son Aidan Donahue of Foxborough, MA; and his niece Keri Coy, husband Mike Coy and children Marie and Emmet Coy of Fremont, NH.
