Lena (DeRienzo) Zagarella

Lena (DeRienzo) Zagarella, 93, of Natick, MA, passed away, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, MA.

She was the wife of the late William J. Zagarella.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosaria (Guarini) DeRienzo.

Lena had worked for many years as a caterer for Goodwin Proctor.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking, walking, but most of all spending time with her family. Lena was an avid Patriots fan and watched every game.

She is survived by a son, William Zagarella and his wife Debby of Peterborough, NH, a daughter, Deborah L. Navoni and her husband James of Northboro, MA, a brother, Victor DeRienzo of Jacksonville, FL, two sisters, Netta DeWart of Saugus, MA, and Lucy DeWart of Saugus, MA, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Jamie Navoni.  She was also the sister of the late Angelo DeRienzo, Vincent DeRienzo, Richard DeRienzo, Anthony DeRienzo, Raymond DeRienzo, Olga Martinec, Elizabeth Cataldo and Anna Redmond.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 4-7PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10AM in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
