Louise Mary (Kazanowski) Ruggiero of Natick passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on October 13, 2025. She was born in Somerville on March 15, 1937 to the late Edward Joseph and Mary Esther (Young) Kazanowski.
Louise is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Anthony Ruggiero, whom she met on a blind date. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Karen Saint of Maynard, MA, and Lisa Reinhardt and her husband, Mark, of Londonderry, NH; her cherished grandchildren, Amy Denver and her husband, Matthew, of Tokyo, Japan, Michelle Saint of Portland, OR, and Kaitlyn Saint of Maynard, MA; and her adored great-granddaughters, Zoey and Ella Denver. She is also survived by her dear sister, Eileen Kazanowski of Woburn, MA, and many nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her siblings Patricia Boffa, John Kazanowski, and Edward Kazanowski.
A lover of all things family, Louise was usually the last to leave any gathering, saying her goodbyes with her signature two-cheek kiss. She had a gift for conversation—anyone receiving a call from her knew to clear the next hour, as she loved to chat and catch up. Within minutes of meeting someone, she would know their life story, from how many siblings they had to when their birthday was. A keeper of family history, she often brought along old photos to share at gatherings, sparking stories and laughter.
Funeral services will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common, on Saturday, October 25th, at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
