Lucy M. (Lentini) Mangini, 97 of Milford, formerly of Natick passed away peacefully at Casa de Ramana in Framingham on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Dante J. Mangini, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Lentini.

She is survived by her eight children: Kathleen Taylor and her husband, Rick of Milford, Paul Mangini of Florida, Daniel Mangini of Wrentham, Diane Parker and her husband, George of Vermont, Stephen Mangini and his wife, Melissa of Arizona, Julie Mangini of Natick, Joseph Mangini of Milford, Lisa Pearson and her husband, Billy of Framingham.  She is predeceased by her daughter, Maria Driscoll. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great and one great-great-grandchild as well as extended family.

After graduating from Natick High School in 1944, she trained at French Dress Design School in Boston where she became an accomplished dressmaker. She always had a generous spirit and an innate desire to help people and would often use her talent to do seamstress work for people at reduced rates or no charge.  She was a consummate and creative cook who never seemed to tire in expressing her love through her cooking. She especially loved to bake and got a reputation for her generosity in handing out baked goods to people who least expected it and especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There was no end to the selfless love and devotion she had for her children, which carried through to the generations to follow. She liked to remain active into her 90’s, whether at Silver Sneakers class or long walks.

Lucy was known for her ready smile and vibrant personality which she joyfully expressed on the dance floor during all celebrations. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00 am. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, from 3 pm through 7 pm.
