Marcelo "Cello" Adorni Obituary

Marcelo “Cello” T. Adorni, 42, of Walpole, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025.

Born on June 4, 1982, in São Paulo, Brazil, Marcelo was the beloved son of Roberto Tadeu and Leila (Montagano) Adorni.

Cello had an incredible spirit and a heart full of kindness. His sharp wit and humor brought laughter and joy to those around him, while his compassion and positivity uplifted everyone he met. He had a rare gift for knowing just what to say in times of need, always offering warmth and support.

A passionate communicator, Cello was an avid movie critic and lover of entertainment, music, and the arts. His enthusiasm led him to a meaningful career at Fenway Health, where he served as a Study Director, providing care, support, and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community. His dedication to human rights, dignity, equality and social justice was unwavering.

Cello was a devoted brother to Eleonora “Ellie” Tulaba and her husband William "Wil" Tulaba of Natick, Gabriel Adorni and his fiancée Rachel Donnell of Watertown, and Gabriela Adorni and husband Emerson Vedovato and their son Gustavo of Brazil. He was a cherished uncle to Billy & Sophia Tulaba, finding immense joy in being a fun, caring, and supportive presence in their lives.

He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, close cousins and dear friends.

Cello’s greatest legacy is the love, kindness, laughter and joy he spread. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, inspiring others to lead with compassion.

He often shared the sentiments, “Kindness Matters” and “Be a good human,” words he embodied every day.

Visiting hours will be held at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., Natick Common, Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Dell Park Cemetery, Natick. Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend.
