Obituary

Margaret Keith (Tower) Carter, 93, of Natick, MA, passed away, Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the home of her daughter in Northbridge, MA.

She was the wife of the late Neil Clifton Carter.

Born in Revere, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Mary (Keith) Tower.

Margaret had run the operating room for the Leonard Morse Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 1992.  For many years, she served as a Deacon with the First Congregational Church in Natick.  She enjoyed reading and knitting.  Margaret was a 1951 Graduate of New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston.

She is survived by two sons, Ian C. Carter and his wife Brenda and Scott C. Carter both of Natick, MA, a daughter, Janet Blanchard and her husband Nathan of Northbridge, MA, five grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Dominic, Emily and Jason, and six great grandchildren, William, Malcolm, Konrad, Declan, Zoe and Cyrus.  She was also the sister of the late Ian K. Tower, Malcom K. Tower and Jean K. Tower.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 11AM-12PM, in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON.  A memorial service will follow at 12PM.  Interment will be private.
