Margaret White Obituary

Former longtime Natick resident passed peacefully at her home in Blackstone on Friday April 22, 2022 surrounded by family. Peggy was 84 years old.

Born in Wellesley, she was a daughter of the late Clara (Lane) and Michael Keane.  She attended St Patrick’s School and was a graduate of Natick High School class of 1955. She worked at the Natick Trust Company prior to getting married and raising her family. She later operated a successful ceramics business for many years. Peggy and Joe built a cottage on a lake in Maine where she enjoyed many years with family and friends and this was her favorite place.  Peggy also enjoyed the challenge of her daily crosswords, and trips to the casino.

Peggy will be remembered for her loving, compassionate and generous nature. She never hesitated to open her home to those in need.  She was committed to her family and her faith.  Peggy had 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.

Peggy was the beloved wife of Joseph H. White for the past 63 years and the devoted mother of Karen Fitzpatrick and her husband Brian of Blackstone, Colleen Pawlowski and her husband Rick of Austin TX, Joseph H. White, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Lenexa VA, and Christine White of Blackstone.  She was the sister of Mary Vacaro of Blackstone, Patricia Rocheleau of Uxbridge, Patrick Keane and his wife Maggie of Aberdeen NC, and the late Francis and Kevin Keane, and Kathleen Behenna.  Peggy was the proud grandmother of Caitlin, Brianna and Timothy Fitzpatrick, Shannon and Meghan Pawlowski, Sean and Nicole White, and Kyle, Colin, and Kyra Johnson; and great-grandmother of Henry, Nora and Molly Latour, Wyatt, Troy and Grant Cupka, and Owen and Ellis Lind.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
