Margaret York was a resident of Natick for 67 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church where she taught CCD classes and worshipped. She fasted every Lent well into her 90's. Margaret is greatly missed and fondly remembered for her quick sense of wit, warm and open heart for people and her faith in Jesus Christ. She loved her husband of 73 years, her family and her friends. She was also well known for her love of Scrabble and Crossword puzzles, the cakes that she decorated for every occasion, and her never-ending laughter and song. In her younger years, Margaret loved to walk—four miles per day most days. She loved Dad's flowers from the first springtime Crocus to the very last rose of the season. Her greatest joy was when family or friends were gathering which always put the biggest smile on her face! Those are our fond memories of her. What are yours? Can't you hear her laughter and see her face light up as she opens her front door to greet you as you step onto her front walk? God bless you Margaret!
Her unwavering faith and trust in God, her devotion to her husband, Emery, of 73 years, and her dedication and love to her ever-growing family is the greatest treasure we will hold forever in our hearts. She loved celebrating life as often as possible with her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held in the spring and announced at a later date.
