Martin Wilens Obituary

Martin Bernard Wilens, 91, of Natick, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Martin was born on May 8, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Irving and Sadie (Stone) Wilens.

Martin graduated from Cornell University with a double engineering degree in Nuclear and Civil Engineering in 1957. He worked for the Atomic Energy Commission (now the NRC) and for Center for Naval Analysis. He went on to pursue a career in finance as a stockbroker, eventually starting two companies, Wilens Securities and St. Michael's Associates.

He played basketball at Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, NY, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and for a men's basketball league in Montgomery County, MD

Martin was preceded in death by his son Herbert Wilens and his former wife Grace Wilens who both passed away in 2012. Martin is survived by his daughters, Susan Wilens of Clearwater, FL, Bonnie Wilens, of Natick, MA, and his son, Douglas Wilens of Brookeville, MD. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Benjamin, Michael, Nicole, Lily and Matthew as well as 4 great-grandchildren Joanna, Madison, Mella and Melany.

Funeral Service in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., Natick Common, on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, 11:30 am at the Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
