Mary Davis Obituary
Of Hudson, passed away at home on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at age 72.
Daughter of the late Barbara (Ready) and John McGann. Beloved wife of the late Charles W. “Billy” Davis. Devoted mother of Michelle Wetzel and her husband Keith of Auburn, Robin Faherty and her husband Mark of Norton, Cherilyn Rancourt and her husband Pierre of Woburn, Kelly Mason and her husband Josh of Northborough, and Corey Macaruso and her husband Brian of Millbury. Sister of Terry McGann of FL, Anne MacDonald and Maureen Devane of Hudson, Margaret Farnsworth and Eileen Dickson of Marlborough, and the late Kevin McGann. Proud grandmother of Jace and Zack Wetzel, Colin and McKenzie Faherty, Jackie Kelley, Presley and Brayden Rancourt, and Tess Macaruso. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mary enjoyed her many years teaching in the Wayland school system. She loved all of her students and colleagues. She enjoyed baking, gardening, shopping, and lunch dates with her close friends. She enjoyed many vacations over the years with her husband, sisters, brother, daughters & grandchildren and loved attending family functions. Her grandchildren were her world. She enjoyed every minute with them. She loved having sleepovers, taking them places, and loved attending all of their sporting events, award ceremonies etc. She was the best “Mammy”. She was also an avid fan of the NE Patriots and loved watching all of the games. She had such a sweet & loving nature and is going to be missed by so many.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON on Tuesday Oct. 19, 2021 at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 133 School St., Waltham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday Oct. 18, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
