Mary Jane Sutherland, 61, of Los Angeles, California, passed away September 15, 2025, at home.

Born, February 13, 1964, in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Robert Daniel Sutherland and Mary Jane (Maclachlan) Sutherland.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her loving parents and is survived by her sister Karen Mary (Sutherland) Elias her husband Stephen Robert Elias of Framingham, MA, sister Carol Ann Sutherland and husband Mark Freeman of Acton, MA, sister Christine Fern Sutherland and husband Tom Mancillas of Los Angeles, CA and brother Robert Daniel Sutherland Jr and wife Kathy (Barton) Sutherland. Nephews, Daniel Freeman of Framingham, MA, Nicholas Perry and his wife Molly Perry of Tyngsboro, MA, Sean and Joseph Sutherland, her niece Joanna Perry and Great Grand Nephew Leo.

Mary attended Bedford High School, Bedford MA, and was a member of the Class of 1982. Mary also attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. Mary was employed as a Bookeeper and a Personal Assistant.

Mary had a very creative nature, she enjoyed photography, poetry, writing, film editing and painting.

Mary was always fun to be with, as she had a warm and loving way about her, Mary will be in our hearts and missed very much each day.

Funeral Service at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hour before the service from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Interment following at St. Michael Cemetery, Hudson.
