Mary Mallozzi

MARY MALLOZZI Born May 11, 1927, in North Providence, RI to Matteo Pisano and his wife Genoeffa (Narducci).

Married to Louis Mallozzi May 9, 1953, who predeceased her in 1994.

Lived in Providence until she moved to Natick MA in 1994.

She is survived by her son Domenic M. and his wife Karen of Natick, her son Louis and his wife Sandra Binion of Morton Grove, IL, and her granddaughter Nina E. Shepardson and her husband Kevin of Arlington, MA, along with many nieces and nephews.

She loved her family and her many friends. She enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for her family. She cared for many family members who were ill and was always supportive and loyal to her many friends. She was proud of her Rhode Island roots and always let people know how she loved RI. She worked for many years for the RI School Lunch Program in Providence.

She had a love of music, art and travelling, and had a sincere curiosity about life and people. She took up painting later in life taking courses at the Natick Senior Center and displaying her work locally. She also was a volunteer at the Natick Food Pantry. She enjoyed taking long walks and spending time with Nina and Kevin.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON on Wednesday Nov. 9th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Linus Church Hartford Street Natick at 10am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston RI.  Visiting Hours on Tuesday, Nov 8th from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
